Turners Hill Dog Show

Today we went to the Turners Hill dog show. There weren't many classes Millie could enter but we do a couple. We got a Special in the 'Give a Paw' class where Millie had to shake hands with the judge! 

Apart from run in with an evil lady who said we were pathetic Millie enjoyed it and saw lots of her human friends there! She also got the ice cream I've been promising her!

Dog Training

Millie was a good girl as always dog training tonight. We had a couple new dogs but Millie wasn't put of by them! We did some heelwork, some stopping and out of sight stays.

In the stays there was a Springer puppy not in the class running around and she didn't move!

When we were meant to be doing the stops we also did a bit of jumping and some other tricks! Millie was being such a good girl!

RSPCA Dog Show

Today we went to the RSPCA dog show. 

When we got there we registered and did the have a go agility. We did it in 19s! The people running it thought she was brilliant!

We came 1st in Best Adult Handler and 1st in Most Talented Dog!

Millie in Another Magazine!

Millie's got an article in Dogs Today magazine! It's really nice, and she wins a prize!!

 

 

This evening I decided to find out how well Millie could ride her mountain board on grass - very well!

 



A Little Accident Before Dog Training!

We had a nice walk this evening, though a bit of an accident on the way back! Millie was off her lead and decided to jump over a wooden fence, well over 1 metre high! She then jumped up at someone's garden fence to bark at a dog on the other side (Joe did it first, she couldn't let him have all the fun on his own)! She started crying and holding her paw in the air. We weren't far from home and she walked back alright. I looked down and noticed I had some blood on me. After wrapping some tissue around Millie's paw it was confirmed the blood was coming from her! Fortunately it was just a small cut and she's fine now!

This evening was dog training again. We didn't go last week. Millie was very good. We did heelwork off the lead, out of sight stays, stops and going to mats. She happily did this, even going to one of the other dogs mats - I forgot hers!

Level 5!!

This afternoon Millie and I went on a lovely walk! 

When we came back, I saw Millie got her level 5 award!

Online Dog Show

I entered Millie into an online dog show. I entered a picture of her on her scooter and jumping over my back. More results were announced yesterday!

She came 1st in Best Trick, 2nd in Action Shot and 1st Best in Show for the specials! For the classes he came 1st in Wildside and got Reserve Champion overall!

Still Very Hot!

It's still really hot at the moment. Yesterday we went for a couple of nice walks down the old railway line and around the pond. We will do the same later.

It's nice and cool this morning so we decided to do a little bit of training.
