Dog Training

Millie and I went dog training again tonight. We did heelwork between the other dogs and practised finishes. We also did heelwork around cones and stays. Millie did all of it very well and was so eager!

Millie and Joe's rosettes came today! They're lovely and both doggies did very well to win them!

Millie Learning to Read and Online Show Wins!

Earlier I decided to try to teach Millie to read! We're working on 'sit' at the moment as it's simple and she's definitely getting it! I think with a bit more practise she'll have mastered sit and we can move on to new words!




Also, I entered Millie and Joe into an online show. Millie came 6th in Fancy Dress and 2nd in Funniest Photo! Joe also won a special! I will post pictures with the rosettes when they arrive.

A few more tricks!

This afternoon Millie and I went on a nice long walk. Nowhere interesting, but made a change from where we normally go!


When we got back we did a little bit more disc dog, Millie was super!


This evening Millie drew another beautiful picture - she's becoming quite the artist!

Disc Dog and Jumping!

Yesterday Millie and I did lots of disc dog training. Millie's getting so good and really leaps to grab the disc! Her freestyle moves are coming along too!

This morning we did some jumping. Millie was so speedy and flew over them as always! I then made her a really long jump, and she still cleared it by miles!



Dog Training

Millie and I went dog training again this evening. It was a full class and lots of the dogs weren't as advanced so we didn't do quite as much as usual. We did send-aways which Millie did well and recalls in pairs and despite being a bit too eager to come, she was good. We did stays and the dog next to Millie in the sit stay kept getting up and looking at her! Millie was very good though and stayed exactly where she was!

This evening I hung a towel over the radiator to dry. Within minutes, Millie had it in her mouth! She wouldn't let go of it! In the end, I put a treat on the floor and put the kettle on, watching Millie out the corner of my eye. When she thought I wasn't looking, she ran under the table and dropped the towel there so it would take me longer to get there and there was a greater chance of me not seeing it, ran to the treat and I just about beat her back to the towel! The plan was very well thought out, I got there a second before her!!

On our walk this afternoon, Millie posed on a log for me so I could take some nice photos!

A Busy Weekend Training!

Millie's done quite a bit of training this weekend. Last night she drew two more beautiful pictures!

This morning we practised rebounds. She's getting a lot better! We then did some disc dog - Millie's amazing! She really leaps to catch the disc! 

I then decided to get the mountain board out, she hasn't been on it for a while! She still did just as well though!

After a short break, we took the scooter to the doctors car park to have a go. We haven't done that for ages! Millie was a very good girl!

She also did some other tricks up there, and posed for another photo for me!
